Terra Preta a soft, tri-blend of bay black alpaca fleece and dark colored wool from Shetland and Jacob sheep. The yarn gets its name from an ancient cultivated soil found in the Amazon Rainforest. Indigenous people created the soil by compositing a variety of the organic matter. Like its namesake, our yarn is a rich brown and brings together different ingredients into a cohesive whole.
