Bone is made from 100% Navajo-Churro wool in natural white. Navajo-Churro sheep are a dual coated breed with a long, hairy outer coat and shorter, downy under coat. Bone blends both coats together spun into a single-ply yarn.We refer to this style of spinning as “lopi style” because it is the same technique used to make Icelandic lopi yarn from dual-coated Icelandic sheep.

We offer two varieties of Bone.

  • The uniform thickness is a relatively consistent yarn. It is $27.
  • The varied thickness has some slight variations in weight and slubs. It is $23.
