This yarn is like a little lasso! Mutton is named for its rugged good looks and rodeo style. The yarn’s strength, texture and variation makes it well suited for weaving, textured knits, and small macramé works. Mutton is a sister skein to Kaolin. Both yarns are made from the same ingredients — Lincoln Longwool and Tunis sheep wool. Variations in milling and materials give each yarn a distinct look. Mutton has a tighter twist. Kaolin has a bigger shine.
